Hodgdon 4831SC Smokeless Powder (1 lb.)
Ballistically, this Extreme Extruded powder is the exact copy of H4831. Physically, it has a shorter grain size, therefore, the designation SC or short cut. The shorter, more compact kernels allow the powder to flow through the powder measures more smoothly, helping to alleviate the constant cutting of granules. With the smoother flow characteristics comes more uniform charge weights, while the individual grains orient more compactly, creating better loading density. Available in 1 lb. & 8 lb. containers

Powders and primers require a hazardous material (HAZMAT) handling fee. $25.50 UPS Hazmat Fee, $29.00 Fedex Hazmat Fee (FedEx Hazmat shipments require signature upon delivery). You choose your preferred carrier at checkout. To keep shipping costs to a minimum, powders and primers may be shipped together. Total powder weight cannot exceed 48 lbs. per shipping box. Total primer variety cannot exceed three types. Total shipping box weight cannot exceed 70 lbs. A HAZMAT fee per shipping box will be applied to all powder and primer shipments. If more than one hazmat fee applies you will be contacted by email or phone. Ground shipping charges still apply (determined by weight and destination). Hazardous Materials cannot be returned.
